Higher degree by research

A higher degree by research is a program at Master's or Doctoral level in which at least two-thirds of the study program involves research. Find out more about Research courses.

Honours degree

An Honours degree is an additional year of study following a undergraduate bachelor degree.

Postgraduate course types

Graduate Certificate

A four unit course for both graduates and individuals with no academic qualifications, but with relevant work experience. Can be completed in one semester full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Graduate Diploma

An eight unit course for non-business degree graduates with relevant work experience. Can be completed in one year full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Master

A twelve or sixteen unit course for graduates wanting to develop expertise in a particular area of business. Can be completed in 18 months or two years full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Master of Commerce

Requirements may vary. Courses may be a combination of research and coursework. The course can be completed in two years full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Postgraduate Diploma

An eight unit course for graduates to advance expertise in their undergraduate area of specialisation. Can be completed in one year full- time (or equivalent part-time).
