Our brain is the product of millions of years of evolutionary pressure adapted to make rational decisions to increase personal benefit and chances of survival. Right? Wrong!

Human beings are peculiar creatures.  We are capable of great acts of kindness, heroic self sacrifice as well as unimaginable cruelty.

Which begs the question: Is our brain equipped to make rational decisions in a modern society?
And most importantly for all SME owners and managers - how are we suppose to run a successful business with such strange and random creatures?

Behavioural economics and applied psychology are beginning to uncover some of the consistent patterns in decision making that guide humans.  Understanding these forces can help you influence your customers and staff while also ensuring your communications are actually being heard by them.

Nathan Taylor, is an economist and he specialises in uncovering the hidden rationality influencing human behaviour using rigorous analysis of economic data.

Please join Nathan and the Curtin Growth crew for a fascinating and entertaining insight into Doing Business with Naked Apes!

As usual there will be plenty of time to mingle, to catch up with old friends and to meet fellow Growth graduates whilst enjoying superb Curtin Growth hospitality.

We hope to see you at 4pm on Thursday, the 11th of February!
