Public Sector Management Program

The Public Sector Management Program (PSM Program) is facilitated jointly by academic staff from Curtin Business School and the John Curtin Institute of Public Policy Public Sector Management Program in Western Australia.

Aim

The Australian public sector is in a period of change with increased demands for accountability and service provision from a more informed public and with fewer resources.

The PSM Program was developed as a national strategy to develop leaders to meet this changing environment.

The four unit program combines tertiary study with experiential learning and is aimed at middle to senior managers in the State, Commonwealth and Local Government public sector.

Benefits

Participants who successfully complete the PSM Program can choose a graduate certificate from one of four leading Australian universities:

  • Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia
  • Griffith University, Queensland
  • Macquarie University, New South Wales
  • RMIT, Victoria
