More Information

My aim as an academic is to create an interesting, relevant and innovative learning environment for students. Through a strongly experiential based approach I seek to provide students with the benefits of being exposed to current thinking in the relevant disciplines as well as a unique opportunity to put into practice the concepts, tools and techniques presented. In terms of my work with organisations, my broader vision is to faciliate oppportunities to enhance decision quality, especially with regard to senior management teams. This underpins my role in the GSB Strategic Planning and Decisions Unit and the Stratcom Facility, where much of what we do focuses on developing specialised processes and software for supporting business needs in strategic planning activities, resource allocation and decision making. My expertise here is in creativity and innovation, enhancing the effectiveness of top management teams (TMTs), expert group facilitation and developing processes to support improved decision quality. Where relevant, this includes the use of decision support technologies that are now available to support complex decision making.
