Postgraduate courses

The School of Information Systems offers postgraduate courses to suit individuals at various stages of their careers.

A Graduate Certificate is designed for those who wish to gain expertise in the information technology or systems field, a Graduate Diploma for those with a non-business degree, a Postgraduate Diploma for those wishing to advance expertise in the information systems area, a Masters for developing particular expertise in information systems and a Master of Commerce for information systems professionals to advance their skills.


Graduate Certificate

  • A four unit course for both graduates and individuals with no academic qualifications, but with relevant work experience. Can be completed in one semester full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Graduate Diploma

  • An eight unit course for non-business degree graduates with relevant work experience. Can be completed in one year full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Master

  • A twelve or sixteen unit course for graduates wanting to develop expertise in a particular area of business. Can be completed in 18 months or two years full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Master of Commerce

  • Requirements may vary. Courses may be a combination of research and coursework. The course can be completed in two years full-time (or equivalent part-time).

Postgraduate Diploma

  • An eight unit course for graduates to advance expertise in their undergraduate area of specialisation. Can be completed in one year full- time (or equivalent part-time).
