Master Data maintenance specialist
Required to support integration of design, procurement and warehousing systems for world-leading WA shipbuilder.

A new, lean Supply Chain has been established to support our innovative production process and a comprehensive and well-structured Master Data library is now fundamental to seamless materials definition - from design, through procurement, to warehousing and the workshop floor.
The role requires updating the current Master Data library, including implementing a new naming convention, mapping the existing library to the new convention and ensuring other design and production databases are also updated. Each item in the Master Data library will also require linking to preferred supplier information.
The successful applicant will likely have:
- a technical background,
- strong communication skills and an ability to apply a logical and consistent naming structure across a variety of material items.
- proficiency in Excel is essential and an understanding of relational databases such as Access is highly desirable. Knowledge of Pronto or a similar ERP system would also be advantageous.
This is a 3 month contract position with options to extend.
