Honours program

The School of Management Honours program is committed to the development of outstanding undergraduate students. One of our goals is to enable them to make a substantial contribution to their discipline and chosen profession, with emphasis on the advancement of analytical and research skills.

There are five areas in which students may undertake an Honours program (depending on the single or double major they have studied). Those areas are:

  • Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations
  • International Business
  • Management
  • Small Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Tourism Management

 Entrance requirements

Students will need to have completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a relevant major and have achieved a minimum course weighted average of 70%, together with recognised potential to study creditably at Honours level, as determined by the Honours Committee. "Potential" is assessed by perusal of previous student research projects and the opinions of two academic referees. Applicants who meet these criteria will be interviewed, and invitations to participate will be made to successful candidates.

If you have any further questions, please contact the School of Management office.
