What is Oyster?
The School of Marketing has recently implemented a new work experience program for marketing, PR and advertising students called Oyster. It is an important part of the school's commitment to provide professional support to students in their pursuit to gain full-time employment in the marketing field.
Oyster aims to enrich students' academic life through real-life, hands on practice in the industry. It sets out to:
- provide you with invaluable work experience opportunities by using industry contacts.
- invite guest speakers to give you deeper insights into the industry.
- give you the advantage of the Oyster Office in Building 408 Level 2.
- offer workshops to build resume writing and interview skills along with technical workshops to teach relevant technical skills.
