Master of Property (304356)

The course is designed for applicants wanting to expand on their previous academic or professional background to become members of the Australian Property Institute (API).

Students study units in property management, income property analysis, property finance, real estate planning and development, valuation methodology, property economics, real estate market analysis, land law, business valuation, construction and building costs, statutory valuation and valuation practice.

Course Entry Requirements / Prerequisites

Applicants must have a Bachelor Degree in a discipline other than property studies from a recognised institution. Students wanting to be a Certified Practicing Valuer must have a first degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee-paying course is three years taught only on a part-time basis. The course is not available to international students.

Master

A twelve or sixteen unit course for graduates wanting to develop expertise in a particular area of business. Can be completed in 18 months or two years full-time (or equivalent part-time).
