'The Chairman and the CEO'  will become an annual CEDA/Curtin Business School luncheon where you will hear from the some of the nation’s top Chairs and Chief Executives.

And what two better and more respected businessmen to speak at this inaugural event than Michael Chaney, the Chairman of the NAB and Woodside, and Richard Goyder, the Chief Executive of Wesfarmers.

In an interview format, Michael and Richard will discuss the business issues of the day as well as their own personal journeys.

They will compare notes on Wesfarmers, Michael having handed over the reigns to Richard in July 2005 after 13 years in the top job. They will also answer questions on the role of the Chairman and the CEO and how they interact.

And, of course, with both men right at the coalface of the world economic crisis, their respective views on how they see it playing out will be compelling listening.
